Gwen Ames is a CSS Guru and is motivated by a job well done. Her heads-down, hard-working mentality will surely benefit 4Web clients in every way.

Gwen creates most of 4Web's custom templates, as well as installing Joomla, researching extensions, and populating sites with content. Her tenacity to overcome technical challenges and her practical approach to problem-solving are valuable assets she uses each day.

In her former life at Cornell University, Gwen held various administrative roles including the pressure-cooker title of Grant and Contract Officer in the office of sponsored programs. One of only twelve people responsible for administering the millions of dollars of grant applications and funding for Cornell, her organizational and communication skills served her well.

Gwen earned her B.A. in Philosophy from Mount Holyoke College too long ago to willingly reveal here. She returned to school in 2008 and earned her M.S. in Internet Technology from the Marlboro College Graduate School.  While in Grad School she learned how to develop sites that are functional, usable and accessible….after all, Jen was one of her teachers!
